The Complete Guide To Exclusive Spawn Figures and Collectors Club Releases
There have been many Exclusive Spawn figures since the very first figure was released back in 1994. Most of these figures were only available online threough the McFarlane Toys Collectors Club, or their only store in Glendale, Arizona. Some of these Exclusive Spawn Figures have become highly collectible and are eagerly chased after by many of Spawn's fans. Spawn, Todd McFarlane's own creation, continues to be the backbone of McFarlane Toys. The very first figures we released were based on Spawn and it continues to be among one of their most unusual and successful lines. One of the "sub-sets" of Exclusive Spawn Figures to be released was the The "Best of Spawn" series, which was a series of limited production runs featuring the all-time greats of fans' most-requested Spawn figures in all-new packaging. There have been two "Best of Spawn" figures released so far, with more promised to come.
The Rarest Exclusive Spawn FiguresTwo of the hardest Spawn figures to find is the Collectors Club Lotus Angel and Black Mandarin Spawn. is too One of the Holy Grails of the Spawn line tho' is the clear Necro Cop from Series 31, there are said to be only 100 or so of them made. Or how about the Todd Mcfarlane Urizen, with only 10 in existence? This figure goes for $500+ and but it's unlikely you'll find any for sale. Other ultra rare Spawns that you should keep a lookout for are:
A few of the hard to find, but still available Spawn figures are:
The pewter Raven Spawn is a real tough figure to get as it was never released, but they sit in a warehouse to this day. Another rarity is the Diamond Exclusive Worm Head Spawn that came out with the release of Spawn #50. Don't get this mixed up the first series Spawn tho' which had a masked Spawn (black costume) and a repaint unmasked Spawn (black costume), or the first Diamond/Wildstorm exclusive which was the masked S-1 Spawn figure (w/a blue costume). The 'Worm Head' 50th issue Diamond exclusive was a new unmasked head (w/a black costume) and then there was The Collector's Club figure which was released later with the same 'Worm Head' but w/a blue costume. Confused? Well, hopefully this checklist of Exclusive Spawn Figures should help you out.
Have you bought any Spawn figures?
Then why not write a DC Comics figure review and let others know what you think? Don't have the time to write a full review? Then just skip to the bottom and rate it for the six categories listed, it's that simple!
