The Boomer Figure and Athena Figure Diamond double pack from Select Toys features the two versions of the "Sharon" Number Eight Cylon serving on the Battlestar Galatica.

Who is "Boomer"?

Boomer is in fact a female humanoid Cylon. In fact there are two prominent copies of Number Eight serving on Galactica; Sharon Valerii and Sharon Agathon, using the call signs "Boomer" and "Athena", respectively and this pack features both versions.

Both of these seven inch figures feature a highly detail sculpts, multiple points of articulation and show accurate accessories.

Boomer is a Cylon sleeper agent programmed to believe that she is human and implanted with false memories of being raised on Troy by her parents Katherine and Abraham Valerii, who were supposedly killed in an accident that killed all the members on the mining colony. Whether or not her parents actually existed remains unknown.

Due to her Cylon programming, Boomer performs a number of sabotage actions (including bombing the Galactica's water tanks) but has no conscious memory of these actions.

Boomer eventually begins to suspect that something may be wrong with her and even even asks Gaius Baltar to administer a blood test to find out if she is a Cylon.

The tests however come back positive and confirm that she is in fact a Cylon but in fear of his life Gaius decides not to reveal his findings.

But Boomer becomes increasingly paranoid and aware that something is wrong with her, and even attempts suicide, however, her Cylon programming doesn't allow her to kill herself.

However her "alter ego" or the second copy of Sharon on the Galatica is fully aware of her true nature. This Sharon also seems to possess the memories and experiences of Boomer (at least until the later episodes of the first season), including memories of her relationship with Tyrol and she expresses happiness for Tyrol and Cally, who eventually marry each other.

The Boomer Figure and Athena Figure stand approx 7-inches in height and utilize the latest in digital scanning technology to ensure the most accurate sculpting possible from Jean St Jean. Eac figure also features mulptiple points of articulation and show accurate accessories
